Privacy policy

This policy explains what data we keep when you message Hit Shoes (Dr. Jack) on WhatsApp, Facebook (Messenger) or Instagram, why we keep it, who sees it and how you can have it deleted.

Who we are

The data controller is HIT SHOES SH.P.K., which trades as Dr. Jack, based on the Ferizaj–Prishtina highway (Magjistrale Ferizaj-Prishtinë), Ferizaj, Kosovo. For any question about your data: krondrjack@gmail.com.

ThePluton Studio L.L.C. built the system and maintains it as a data processor, only on Hit Shoes' instructions.

What data we keep

  • your name and phone number;

  • your profile name and ID on WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram;

  • your address and city, when you place an order;

  • the messages and photos you send us;

  • health information, only if you mention it yourself in the chat.

We never ask for card or bank account numbers. Please don't send them in the chat.

Why we use it

  • to answer questions about our products, prices, sizes and stock;

  • to take and deliver orders;

  • so staff can help you when they take over the chat;

  • for a single reminder message, only within 24 hours of your last message.

We don't use your data for advertising and never sell it.

Our legal basis

Answering you and handling your order: because you asked us to, and to carry out the sale.

The virtual assistant

The first replies come from Hit Shoes' virtual assistant, a program that uses artificial intelligence. Staff see the conversations and can take over at any time, and you can ask to talk to a person at any time

Health questions go to staff: the assistant gives no health advice, and this information is never used for selling.

Who receives your data

Meta Platforms (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) delivers the messages between you and us, under its own terms and privacy policy.

OpenAI (USA): parts of the conversation are sent through its API so the assistant can write the reply.

OpenAI doesn't use them to train its models and doesn't store them for us; it may keep them for up to 30 days to prevent abuse (longer only if the law requires it), then deletes them. Because OpenAI is in the USA, this part of the conversation leaves Kosovo and the European Union. Hit Shoes' server, in the European Union, where conversations and orders are stored.

Nobody else receives your data unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Conversations, and the technical logs that contain them, are deleted automatically 12 months after the last message.

The shop's test chats and the backups are deleted after 14 days.

Orders are kept as long as Hit Shoes needs them for delivery, exchanges and its accounts.

Copies of conversations inside Meta's apps (Hit Shoes' inboxes on WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram) are managed by Hit Shoes.

Deleted and edited messages

When you unsend a message on Instagram, we delete it automatically too.

If you edit a message after sending it, the reply you got stays as it was. On WhatsApp the edit doesn't reach us, so the original text is kept.

Your rights

Under Law No. 06/L-082 on the Protection of Personal Data, you have the right to:

  • access your data and get a copy of it;

  • have it corrected;

  • have it deleted;

  • object to its processing, for example to the reminder message;

  • complain to the Information and Privacy Agency (AIP).

Data deletion

You can ask Hit Shoes (Dr. Jack) at any time to delete your conversations and data from WhatsApp, Facebook (Messenger) and Instagram.

How to ask

Write "delete my data" (or «fshini të dhënat e mia») in the same chat where you wrote to us, on WhatsApp, Facebook (Messenger) or Instagram. The request goes to staff.

Hit Shoes deletes the data within 30 days and confirms it in the chat or by email.

What is deleted

  • the conversation: messages and photos;

  • your profile name and ID, phone number and the address saved in the chat;

  • scheduled reminder messages;

  • the technical logs that contain the conversation.

What is kept

Orders (what you ordered, the price and the delivery address) are kept as long as Hit Shoes needs them for delivery, exchanges and its accounts. If you want them deleted too, say so: Hit Shoes deletes or anonymizes them unless the law requires keeping them.

Daily backups roll off on their own within 14 days; after that your conversation is nowhere on our side (orders are kept as described above).

OpenAI may keep the parts of the conversation it received for up to 30 days, then deletes them itself.

Copies in Meta's apps: Hit Shoes deletes the conversation from its WhatsApp, Facebook or Instagram inbox when you ask; you delete the copy on your phone yourself.

Even without a request

Conversations are deleted automatically 12 months after the last message.

When you unsend a message on Instagram, we delete it automatically too.

Security

Only Hit Shoes staff and, while maintaining the system, ThePluton Studio see the conversations. The panel opens only with a password and only over encrypted connections (HTTPS); every change in it is recorded, and backups are made every day.
